How Is the Market?
Everyone asks me. Here's the answer:

Inventories are very low, and everyone is chasing the same properties. Multiple offers are the norm on well-priced homes. Buyers are frustrated — they must pay up. There are no deals to be had.
Sellers are overwhelmed but happy. They're getting top dollar.
Prices are up. Chicago now leads the country in price appreciation — finally — though unit sales are down due to lack of inventory. And this is no fluke: for 12 consecutive years, Chicago has ranked first among U.S. metro areas for corporate relocations and expansions. The demand is real. The fundamentals are strong.
